Physical Rehabilitation describes specialized healthcare dedicated to improving, maintaining or restoring physical strength, cognition and mobility. Typically, rehabilitation helps people gain greater independence after illness, injury or surgery.
The type of therapy a client needs is determined by a team of experts, including a physician, in order to determine the best treatment plan to achieve the client’s goals for well-being. Our focus is to get you or your loved one better quickly with a combination of therapies that may include:
- Physical therapy for increased strength and mobility,
- Occupational therapy for improved everyday living skills and
- Speech and language therapy for improved communication or swallowing.
Our results oriented rehabilitation programs are developed to enhance healing, as well as, improve or maintain physical and cognitive function. To schedule a tour of rehabilitation department, contact our Admissions Coordinator.
Long term Care
We provide a wide range of health and personal care services, including long-term skilled nursing care.
These services include nursing care, 24-hour supervision, three meals a day, and assistance with everyday activities, such as bathing, dressing and eating. Rehabilitation services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy are also available. Many of our patients are here for a short time after being in the hospital for certain conditions. After they recover, they go home.
However, when a patient makes the decision to live in our environment because they have ongoing physical or mental conditions that require constant care and supervision, we are here for them too.
